Trials

Voluntary participants are currently recruited for a clinical study on the lead product of Oncos Therapeutics, the oncolytic adenovirus CGTG-102, at Docrates Hospital. Please see their website for ongoing clinical trials for details.

CGTG-102 is designed to utilize a gene mutation common to all solid tumor cancer cells – a defect in the Rb-p16 pathway. It has already demonstrated safety in the Advanced Therapy Access Program program with a promise on efficacy. CGTG-102 is a unique oncolytic virus marked by its high potency, selectivity, and stimulation of anti-tumor immune response. CGTG-102 is based on the serotype 5 adenovirus; more than 15,000 cancer patients have already been treated worldwide with serotype 5 based adenoviruses, establishing a solid body of safety data.
